AMANDA K. COLE 

Movement & Intimacy Director 

 

(she/they) Amanda is a movement director, intimacy and violence choreographer whose work has been seen throughout the LA area and the Pacific Northwest. She is a fierce advocate for safe, sustainable, and respectful practice around the staging of intimacy and violence in the industry. Amanda is recommended by the Society of American Fight Directors (SAFD) as an Advanced Actor/Combatant. They are also an intimacy director with local movement consortium, elemental movement, and an apprentice with Intimacy Directors International. Amanda holds an MFA in Acting from California Institute of the Arts. They are a proud member of SDC. 

 
JONATHAN COLE

[he/him/his]

Jonathan has worked throughout the northwest as a director, actor and fight director, and is a tenured faculty member of the Theatre Department at Willamette University. He is a Society of American Fight Directors Certified Teacher of stage combat, and serves on the SAFD Theatrical Firearms Committee.

 

His choreography is most often seen on Artists Repertory Theatre’s stage, where he is the Resident Fight Choreographer. His work has also been seen at Third Rail Repertory Theatre, Portland Shakespeare Project, Clackamas Repertory Theatre and Profile Theatre.

 

He is proud to be a Full Director/Choreographer with the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society

Ted is a professional actor, director, teacher and fight choreographer who has worked extensively in New York and in Regional Theatres around the country including: Classic Stage Company, The Culture Project NYC, ACT Seattle, Portland Center Stage, Artists Repertory Theatre, Third Rail Repertory, Public Playhouse, Profile Theatre, CoHo Theatre, Milagro Theatre, the Oregon Symphony, Salem Repertory Theatre, Milwaukee Rep, Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, Buffalo Studio Arena and the Shakespeare Festivals of Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Illinois and North Carolina.

 

In addition to the stage, Ted has worked in front of the camera in numerous commercials, industrials, and films. Ted has studied with Wynn Handman in NYC and with the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London.

 

Ted is an Associate Teacher of Fitzmaurice Voicework and a Certified Teacher of Stage Combat with the Society of American Fight Directors. He has directed violence for over 40 professional and collegiate productions.
