Then, on stage, there is just something that comes over me:

an overwhelming feeling of love,

a need to connect with the audience,

and a desire to share a beautiful and exciting gift.

"In order to be, I have to move. Movement is who I am. Who I am is my whole body, my whole self. My aliveness doesn’t exist without movement.  There’s something so natural in my reactions to the rhythm and the beat. They are already there. I am a dancer. No conditions."

"Choreographing is what brings me to life. As I abandon the notion that I am the one in control, I let the movement create itself - I discover it. As the musician and I interchange our roles of choreographer and composer, the piece becomes its own life force where movement and music cannot be separated. Each moment of union powerfully enrolls the audience, dancers, and musicians into each others lives."

"Accepting being human is not natural for me. It’s easy to demand unrealistic expectations of myself and stand still in fear of them. I’m finding that going backwards always leads to going forwards. Because then there’s a space to create. As I accept failure, I find new ways to be. "
